What are deciduous teeth?
Deciduous teeth are also known as milk teeth or baby teeth, in a dog. (1, 2)

In a dog, they begin to appear two weeks after birth, and are usually completely grown in 8 to 10 weeks later. (1)

A dog usually has about 28 deciduous teeth. (2)

At weeks 12 to 16, a puppies teeth will start to shed, and permanent adult teeth emerge. (2)

By the time a puppy is about 6 months old or so, all of the puppy teeth should have fallen out, and the adult teeth should have grown in in a. (2)
