How to Copy Files from Your Phone to a Linux Computer

  1. On the smart phone, open KDE Connect app
  2. Select ‘Send files’
  3. Choose the files you would like to send, then choose ‘SELECT’
  4. You should now see on the Linux computer, the right hand side about the taskbar icons, the files being received.

To view the new files on the Linux computer
1. Open the Dolphin app
2. Select Downloads directory
3. Sort by the column ‘Modified’ with newest files first
