What is a daughter cell?
A daughter cell is a cell formed from a stem cell. (1)
What do daughter cells do?
A daughter cell can become either a new stem cells or a specialized cell (differentitation) with a more specific function, such as a blood cell, brain cell, heart muscle cell, or bone cell. (1)
