ViewRanger is an app I use when I go for a hike or walk. I start the app when I start my walk and stop it when I end my walk.
It tracks my location so if I were to get lost I can easily backtrack my way back to the location I started.
I can also mark points of interest (POI) on the map. If I find a cool tree, rock or anything, I can mark it and be able to find it again using the ViewRanger app.
