What is a cilia?
Cilia are tiny, hair-like, motile (they can move) structures on the surface of an epithelial cell. (1)

Cilia help move entire epithelial cells or can move substances along the outer surface of an epithelial cell. (1)

How many cilia does an epithelia cell contain?
A cilated cell usually has hundreds of cilia on their sufaces. (1)
